About the SK Global Scholarship Program
The SK Global Scholarship Program is a fully-funded initiative offered by Korea University Graduate School in Seoul, in partnership with SK โ one of South Korea’s leading conglomerates. The program is designed for exceptional international students who want to pursue a Master’s degree in either Semiconductor or AI/IT-related disciplines.
Beyond financial support, the scholarship is a strategic academic exchange initiative aimed at strengthening ties between South Korea and participating regions. Students gain access to world-class research labs, distinguished faculty, and a rich academic environment in one of Asia’s most vibrant cities.

Participating Countries
Applications are accepted from citizens of 34 countries across four regions. Students from East Asia (Japan & Taiwan) are eligible for the Semiconductor track only.
Scholarship Benefits at a Glance
The SK Global Scholarship covers all major costs for studying in South Korea. Here is the complete financial package awarded to each scholar:

Each cohort admits up to 20 students โ 10 per track. Choose one of the two designated fields of study:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy all of the following criteria to be considered for the SK Global Scholarship:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of one of the 34 eligible countries. Both parents must hold non-Korean citizenship.
- Educational Background: Must hold or be expected to hold a bachelor’s degree at the time of enrollment.
- Language Proficiency (one of the following): TOEFL iBT 71+, IELTS Academic 5.5+, CEFR B2+, New TEPS 326+, or TOPIK Level 3+. Waived for applicants who completed their bachelor’s entirely in English.
- Stable Citizenship Status: If citizenship changes to a non-eligible country during the selection process, the application will be disqualified.
- No Application Fee: The entire application and selection process is completely free of charge.
Application Process
The application is conducted entirely online. No entrance examinations are required. A departmental interview may be conducted only at the committee’s discretion.
